Dr. N. E. (Ted) Morris
Psychologist
Dr. N.E. (Ted) Morris (Masters and Doctoral degrees from the
University of Toronto) has been practicing psychology for over 25
years, is licensed with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and
specializes in clinical, health and rehabilitation. His professional
background includes both clinical and administrative positions
with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Centenary Health
Centre, appointments to hospital research committees and graduate
level teaching in psychology and psychiatry.
Dr. Morris provides assessment and treatment services to individuals, couples and families with a wide range of presenting concerns. He is an experienced provider of third party independent evaluations and an established expert witness. His particular practice interests include treatment-resistant depression; anxiety related disorders and post-traumatic stress; illness, injury, pain and disability management; relationship problems; and vocational and occupational challenges. Dr. Morris’ clinical resourcefulness and professional commitment has been peer recognized (OCPA Health Psychology Award, OPA Award of Merit…).

Pyschological Associate
Jane Young-On (Masters degree from Adler University, Chicago)
is a registered Psychological Associate with a warm, supportive
style and a special interest in helping people find meaning in
overcoming adversity and optimizing their sense of wellbeing.
She enjoys working with people struggling with a wide range of
difficulties including depression, anxiety, trauma and loss, and she
has extensive experience treating those affected by chronic and life
threatening illness.
Ms. Young-On is also employed part-time at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Odette Cancer Centre (cancer care) and is a professional leader with Wellspring.

Dr. Michael Schwartz
Psychologist
Dr. Michael Schwartz (Master degree from Weill University, Montreal and
Doctoral degree from the University of Toronto) is a registered
Psychologist, licensed to practice in Ontario since 1980. He was
a senior staff member of the Scarborough Hospital for over 35
years working with children, adolescents, and adults. Over the
past 25 years, he has also provided a broad range of consultations
that include assessments and treatment of individuals injured in
accidents. For the past two years, he has also consulted to the York
Region Board of Education.
Dr. Schwartz has been a field supervisor for graduate students in psychology at both the Masters and Doctoral levels.

Dr. Saleh Jaleel
Psychological Associate
Dr. Saleh Jaleel (Post Magistral and Ph.D. degrees from the
University of Karachi, Pakistan) is a registered Psychological
Associate licensed to practice in Ontario since 1999, in clinical,
counseling and school psychology. He has been employed by
York Region District School Board since September 2000 and was
recognized with an Outstanding Service Award in 2011.
Dr. Jaleel is particularly interested in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents presenting with a variety of developmental, intellectual, social/emotional and behavioural challenges that include autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, developmental/intellectual disability, learning disabilities, ADHD, executive functioning limitations, gifted abilities, academic underachievement, and interpersonal and motivational difficulties.
Dr. Jaleel's varied cultural and linguistic background (South Asian & West Asian) also sensitizes him to the unique perspectives of people from comparable backgrounds. He is conversant with Urdu, Hindi and Farsi.

Psychologist
Dr. Silvina Galperin (Doctoral degree from the University of
Belgrano, Argentina) is a clinical psychologist, registered with the
College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has been employed in
various hospitals and institutions such as the Centre for Addiction
and Mental Health (CAMH), the U.S. National Institutes of Health
and the Toronto District School Board and in private practice settings.
Dr. Galperin combines over 20 years of treatment experience with a strength-based, encouraging and compassionate attitude using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Positive Psychology, emotion-focused therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness meditation and other approaches. Dr. Galperin offers intervention services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, groups and mindfulness meditation courses.

Ms. Eleanor Silverberg
Social Worker and Development Coach (Team affiliate)
Eleanor Silverberg practices as a Professional and Personal
Development Coach for Care Providers after 15 years as a family
caregiver and community outreach social worker in dementia
care. Ms. Silverberg's special interests include broadening the concept of
loss beyond death circumstances - grief facilitation to family
members caring for adults living with a progressive neurological
or chronic mental illness. She holds a Bachelor’s degree
in psychology, a Master in Social Work and Certification in
Bereavement Education and she has studied grief independently
for over 20 years. Ms. Silverberg developed the 3-A Acknowledge, Assess,
Assist® Approach to fill a gap, addressing the impact that loss and
grief have in the care- giving experience. Her academic work in
this area has been published in the Omega Journal of Death and
Dying and her book Caregiving with Strength will be available
soon. Her 3-A Approach has been presented at several prominent
conferences including at Alzheimer International and the Canadian
Gerontology Association. Ms. Silverberg offers training in applying the
3-A components to professional and family caregivers.
Ms. Lesley Ianson
Office Manager
Ms. Lesley Ianson (Bachelor's degree from York University) is our
facility manager and clinical coordinator and serves as our privacy
officer.
